We pride ourselves on offering our clients maximum flexibility. Whether you are looking for a specific color and style of cardstock, or a custom envelope liner - do not hesitate to ask.
Each listing shows you our basic customizations. But we can provide many other different types of paper textures, colors and weights. From double thick, 220 lb. cotton stock - to printing on wood veneer - the customization options are endless. Anything is possible.
You can choose your custom options now from the list below or email them to us at a later time. Custom option information is not required at time of purchase and additions/changes can always be made before we go to print. A quote specific to your needs will be emailed to you once your custom options are decided upon.
You are purchasing a non-refundable $50 design deposit only. Purchasing a deposit "books" Type and Love Paperie for your Boathouse save the dates. Your deposit will be applied toward your order total. The balance due payment will be collected once your proofs are approved and before printing. Please make sure you are ordering your semi-custom save the dates at least 3 weeks in advance of your planned "mail date".

Order of Events
Once we receive your order, semi-custom design preferences, and wording - you will receive a sample proof by email within 3 to 4 days. Typically, the proofing process lasts 5 to 7 business days - depending on how quickly you send us your corrections and edits. Upon your written approval, your invitations will then be sent to production and any accessories, embellishments, etc. will be ordered.
Turn around for printing is dependent on your printing method. For digitally printed items the turn around is approximately 7 business days, up to 3 weeks for thermography and foil stamped items, and up to 4 weeks for letterpress projects.A general timeline for semi-custom save the dates looks like this:
We will keep you updated via email on the progress of your order. You will receive tracking information once your order ships. Rush orders are sometimes available at an additional fee, please email us for details.

There is nothing like being able to feel the quality of our paper and printing. We will do our best to include any specific designs you are interested in. However, sample packs are compiled from a backstock of previous designs so we cannot guarantee a specific invitation will be available.
Each sample package will contain at least 3 samples including your preferred print method, swatches of your wedding colors, our ink color chart, and a selection of our "day of" and social stationery.
Sample packs are shipped via USPS and will be mailed to you within 3 business days of purchase, unless otherwise noted.
